My love for art started young, often suggesting drawing contests with friends. I earned my BFA in Montreal, inspired by its vibrant street art. Though born in Vancouver, I enjoy meeting new people and often defend the city's fun factor. Recently, I’ve spent more time on the Sunshine Coast, enjoying the local art scene and abundant nature. Solo beach walks lead to pockets full of rocks and driftwood, a trait my husband jokes that my daughters inherited from me.

When not working, I’m in my studio, drowning in a sea of collage clippings. In my spare time, I love biking to the beach for a quick dip, catching up with friends, or spending time with family. I connect best with clients eager to get creative with me and innovate beyond corporate stock photos.

Artist Statement

My work is driven by colour, texture, and the urge to make things with my hands. I move between oil, acrylic, collage and mixed media, following whatever material or idea feels interesting at the time. At one point, that meant painting impressionistic oils; now it might mean collaging vintage Playboy magazines onto vinyl records and layering spraypaint and posca pens.

As more of what we see is generated, polished and flattened into a screen, I find myself increasingly drawn to the opposite: visible brushstrokes, imperfect edges, layers, texture and evidence of a human hand.

Mostly, I make art to explore the beautiful, strange, messy experience of being human. The process gives all that visual noise somewhere to go, turning it into something physical, colourful and a little chaotic.
